Just like the namesake of the brand, I am very much a jack of all trades when it comes to building this brand. I am the designer, the maker, the photographer, the graphic designer, the e-comm manager, the social media manager... okay, you get the point. It's a one (wo)man band around here! 

I have a degree in Styling and Creation Direction and I worked as a fashion and interior stylist/stylist assistant for more than five years. Although I loved every second of it, I found myself styling clothes that were badly designed, cut and manufactured and that were destined to end up in landfill. Naturally, I began to question whether the fashion industry really was for me. 

After quite a few a career changes, covid, a decision to move to the UK, and a solo trip starting in Portugal where I fell in love with a French man, I now live in the South of France and spend my free time scouring thrift store in search of jeans that deserve a second life. I guess you could say I'm a type B personality. 

Blue Heron kind of started by accident but now I feel like it's exactly what I'm supposed to do with my life. I want everyone to see what can be created with what already exists on our beautiful planet. Consider this my big middle finger to the Jeff Bezos' and Shein's of the world!
